Operation Second Chance

Based on its 2022 tax return, we calculate that Operation Second Chance spent 93.2 percent of its $1.6 million budget on programs and 6.8 percent on overhead. This meets our recommendation that a highly recommended charity spend at least 90 percent of its budget on programs.

Operation Second Chance supports veterans and their families by building relationships and supporting their immediate needs and interests, such as emergency financial assistance (e.g. mortgage and rent payments, utilities, groceries, travel, and lodging). OSC also offers retreats to wounded, injured, and ill combat veterans and their families.
